Hi, my name is Christina and I love photography. I also love Jesus, long walks, a good Dickens novel, rock climbing and Green Mountain Coffee.

My love for capturing images started in high school with my television production classes. That followed into college where I majored in television and music production at Temple University. Professionally speaking, I picked up my first still camera just after graduation as I sought to transfer my videography skills into something I enjoyed much, much more. Unlike video, which uses 30 frames per second, one still photograph can last a lifetime on someone’s wall, pulling a wide range of emotion from its viewers. Photos are meant to be enjoyed; good photos are meant to be consumed on a daily basis. My goal is to keep friends, family and clients fed well.

I unofficially started up Belong to the Day Photography back in October 2005 when I agreed to shoot my first wedding. Since then, my camera has met families, brides, friends, children and landscapes all over the globe. I feel incredibly privileged and honored with every subject I encounter and hope that is communicated in my work.

The Camera Phone Diaries is my brain child and I’m terribly excited to have Cecile and Cassi join the team. The three of us met in upstate New York where we were co-workers. When Cecile and I met, we immediately started imposing our shooting styles upon one another in a bully-like fashion. After we let our photo-pride simmer down, we were encouraged to push each other outside of our comfort zones; I have learned much from this woman. And she has taken some fantastic photos of me!

Cassi and I met and quickly realized we were the same person. Then we moved in together and realized that we weren’t at all alike. We have both watched each other grow into fine, young professionals and I have watched her grow leaps and bounds as a photographer. She and I have paired up for a photo-a-day project before over at my personal blog, Not a Local. And, Cass bought her first DSLR camera from Cecile!

I love these women dearly and am honored to take photos with them here at The Camera Phone Diaries. Even the crappy, camera-phone kind.
